Boston Ballroom® Studio Policies

Welcome to Boston Ballroom®. To ensure a positive and efficient experience for all our clients, please read and adhere to the following:

• Booking and Rescheduling Policy: 

All lessons and classes must be booked in advance through our online-booking system or at the studio. A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for booking,  or rescheduling. Rescheduled lesson for private dance lessons made less than 24 hours before the intended original scheduled lesson will be charged $30 late cancellation fee. A Boston Ballroom® invoice will be sent to client.

• Late Arrival:

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise.  However, if you arrive late for a lesson or class, the session will still end at the scheduled time, and you will be charged the full rate.

• No Refund Policy:

All purchases, including lessons, classes, memberships, gift certificates and dance lesson packages, are non-refundable. All sales online or in studio are final. No refund policy for all dance programs offered and purchased by clients.

• Dance Lessons, Memberships and Packages Expiration Date:

Dance Lessons, memberships and packages have specific validity periods. It is your responsibility to use all lessons within the designated time frame. All purchased lessons, classes and programs are valid for one year from the purchase date. All dance programs purchased have a 1 year expiration date from the effective date of purchase.

• Attire and Hygiene:

Please wear appropriate workout attire, formal wear, or dancewear, and clean dress shoes or dance shoes during your dance lessons. Clients with strong body odor or unclean clothing maybe asked to leave the studio.

• Cell Phone Usage:

To maintain a focused and respectful environment, please silence your cell phone during lessons. If you need to take a call, please step outside the studio to minimize disruption to others. Video recording in lessons or classes are at the discretion of your teacher. Such recordings are for your own personal study and are not otherwise authorized for replication, distribution or being shared to a third party.  

• Health and Safety:

Inform your Instructor of any health concerns, injuries, or changes in your medical condition before starting lessons. Stop the activity immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort. Consult your healthcare provider if needed. 

• Lost or Stolen Items:

Boston Ballroom® is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please keep your belongings secure during your visit.

• Conduct:

Treat instructors, staff and fellow clients with respect and courtesy. Any inappropriate or disruptive behavior may result in immediate termination of your lessons or membership without refund.

• Change to Policies:

Boston Ballroom® reserves the right to modify or update these studio policies at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes.

We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above.
